Andrew took inspiration from a magazine I shared and turned it into a reality with incredible attention to detail. The fence was handcrafted in their shop and the quality truly shows, it’s both sturdy and elegant. The installation team was professional and precise, ensuring everything was done perfectly. I highly recommend Bergen Fence. We bought a house that had a  fence but it was not finished so we had Bergen Fence finish it and put in a gate. The project manager, Andrew Katzman, took time to explain how his crew would finish the fence and he broke down the costs for us so we knew exactly what to expect. Andrew was extremely personable and professional.  We have dogs so he made sure the crew installed the gate and filled in the gaps so our dogs could not get through. My fence was damaged by a tree branch that fell on it. We had initially planned to obtain at least three estimates but after meeting John Durr from Bergen Fence, who expertly assessed the damage, we decided to hire them on the spot. I cannot recommend the Bergen Fence team highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was friendly, professional, and extremely efficient. It was genuinely refreshing to work with a company that operates at this high level. Our project felt effortless and completely successful thanks to the outstanding management. A huge thank you to the Project Manger, John Durr and his team, including Chris. They were not only great at their jobs but also incredibly easy to work with, making what could have been a headache of a project an absolute breeze. The final result is fantastic. Bergen Fence did an awesome job replacing the worn gate & rotting posts on our walk gate.  It was a tricky job because we didnt want to harm our beautiful mature vine growing inside the lattice of the arbor which was attached to the posts. John was incredibly patient to go back&forth with me to make adjustments so we would be satisfied .John was a pleasure to work with. The installers were also a pleasure and cleaned up nicely. Excellent service, wonderful to work with. John Durr at Bergen Fence helped us design and build extensive fencing at our home in Upper Saddle River. John and the team did an incredible job. That was five years ago. Recently, we had tree damage so I called Bergen Fence for the repair. John came out within hours and the repair was completed perfectly 24 hours later at reasonable cost. Highly recommend using Bergen Fence for residential fence needs. We have been trying to complete our project for about 2 months now. Starting out with reach out to multiple companies for quotes. Problem #1 that we encountered is half of the companies we reach out to actually call back. Then the few that did show up to quote us did not quote what I requested (only wood material not vinyl). Some that showed never even followed up with a quote. I finally reached out to Bergen Fence which is not the closest to me but still in Bergen County. They came out the NEXT DAY to get our measurements for a quote. When I didn't get back an email within a few days I called them and it was because they didn't have an email on file for us. Once that was cleared up I received my quote in less than an hour. Most importantly I received the quote for the material I asked for! Woman in the office was EXTREMELY helpful in going through the different style options and our salesman John was also wonderful to work with and very patient with all of my questions. Once my deposit was paid (less than 1/2 the total) they came out THE NEXT DAY and installed the fence. Work area was left pristine and workers sent were also great to deal with. After going back and forth for weeks with various other companies Bergen Fence got the job done within days.
