The first step in building your fence is to  Request an estimate.  After you agree to the estimate, the next step is to contact your town to see if a permit is needed. If a permit is needed before a fence is installed, you will generally need a survey to apply for one.  However, Bergen Fence realizes the value of our customer’s time and we can obtain your permit for you for a nominal fee plus the cost of the actual permit. Please be advised that each towns cost may vary.

Building Your Fence:

The next step is to prepare for your installation. Once we are notified that any necessary permits have been issued, we prepare the material for your specific order.  When all material has been built, you will be contacted via telephone by our dispatcher to arrange for an installation date. Typically the wait time is approximately 2 weeks from issuance of permit to installation.

It is required that the customer be present for the installation of the fence or railing.  On the scheduled installation date one of our professional installation crews will arrive with an onsite foreman to ensure the process goes smoothly.

 

We at Bergen Fence want your experience to be as worry free as possible. Therefore we would like to inform you on what you can expect when it comes to purchasing your new fence.

We warranty our workmanship for one full year from the date of installation under normal conditions and use.

Product warranty is furnished by the manufacturer upon request.*
